TreeHouseFire is based in Tucson, Arizona and we
write and play what might best be described as Americana, Alternative Rock
or Acoustic Indie Folk

Fronted by singer songwriter Stephen Budd, the songs and his voice are reminiscent of REM, Wilco, Lloyd Cole, The Counting Crows, David Gray, but also sounding a little like Tracy Chapman or Richard Thompson in terms of instrumentation and songwriting--a sound that brings to mind images and stories of simpler times.

These songs are about the warmth and complexity of human experience--- memories, smells, sounds---Songs of love and loss, events, interesting places, reflection; our common feelings and emotions...we hope you find our songs meaningful and enjoyable with melodies and stories that you can take with you...  Also go to our Facebook or ILIKE.com or MySpace pages for upcoming concerts and other information.

We now have a permanent 4 piece band together including Mike Peters on Drums, Mike Sadler on Guitars, Sean Trowbridge on bass, and Stephen on vocals and mostly acoustic guitar...
